Våro Shares New Single ‘Ghost In The Machine’

New York native artist Våro has just shared his brand new single Ghost In The Machine, a melancholic piece of indie-pop/rock music.

Written during an identity crisis, Ghost In The Machine finds Våro questioning reality and where he belongs in the world. I am really enjoying this sort of existential theme which is beautifully carried by his smooth, effortless vocal delivery which is nicely backed by a polished indie-pop/rock production. Apart from his smooth vocals, I am particularly fond of the intricate guitar plucks which are seamlessly intertwined with steady drum beats and lush synths that create an overall warm atmosphere perfect for late night drives or introspective days home alone. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, Våro said,
Ghost In The Machine was made during an identity crisis. The narrative features monologues that have me questioning reality, alongside whether or not my "design" predetermines the mistakes and triumphs that I'll experience throughout life. Ghost In The Machine is perfect for the times when you're feeling like a "nobody" and are questioning where you belong in the world. It was conceived in my room throughout a couple of misty rainy nights.
