Faulty Humans is a moody, synth-driven track that finds Sarah P. beautifully showcasing her expressive, velvety vocals that share a message of hopelessness. It shows Sarah P. in her most vulnerable moment, processing loss during the tumultuous time of uncertainty brought by the pandemic. What I love the most about this song is Sarah P.'s dreamy, ethereal-like vocals and how they soar beautifully over the polished indie/dream-pop production packed with infectious drum patterns and lush synths that create an overall warm, laid-back atmosphere.

Faulty Humans is about that sense of frustration and helplessness that one might feel when they lose someone they love. The pairing of the edgy synths and the uptempo beat with the hazy vocals of the chorus emulates my state of mind when all I wanted to do was grieve, but reality kept chasing after me.
