Retro Video Club Share New Single ‘Break Up Songs’

Scottish 4-piece band Retro Video Club have just shared their brand new single Break Up Songs, a high-energy piece of indie-rock music out now via Stanley Park Records. 

 

Taken from their new EP Situations, Break Up Songs is a fast-paced, guitar-driven song oozing with tons of confidence and energy, instantly getting me hooked from start to finish. I am particularly fond of the passionate vocal delivery and soaring fry on the vocals which gives the song a raw, gritty touch that beautifully enhances the emotion of their storytelling. This relatable song starts off slow with gentle percussion and clean guitars, building with each lyric until exploding on a momentous choral drop centred around the catharsis of shouting “I’m over it”. It's the combination of soaring guitar riffs, passionate vocals and killer drums that really won me over and I think you will love it too. Check it out below!
