Mo Klé Shares New Single ‘Self-Portrait’

Mo Klé, the moniker of Swiss singer and songwriter René Grünenfelder, has just shared his brand new single Self-Portrait, the latest single to be taken from his new EP, Tales From A Garage, out now via Horse Behind A House Records.

I am a fan of Mo Klé's distinctive tone and how easily it commands the listener's attention to his storytelling. Self-Portrait is a finger-picking ballad sharing a message to start loving ourselves before we can give love to others. It shows that we all have our own troubles to cope with and that we should definitely focus on loving ourselves first and this positive message is beautifully conveyed through Mo Klé's lush vocals which are packed with raw, honest emotion. Mo Klé's vocals are backed by a melodic, soft folk-ballad packed with intricate guitar melodies that create an overall warm and intimate atmosphere that will appeal to fans of Gregory Alan Isakov, Blind Pilot, Bob Dylan and Paul Simon.
