California-based, Iranian American indie pop/soul singer songwriter Maia Moham has just shared her brand new single Casual Connections, an upbeat alternative-pop song.

 

What I like the most about this song is Maia Moham's rich, luscious vocals which ooze so much soul and confidence, effortlessly commanding the listener's attention to her storytelling. Casual Connections is a song about the inner turmoil that arises from casual dating in the modern age, exploring the bad habits we create in our search for intimacy and forces the listener to question what they really want - all set to a hypnotically dark dance beat. Apart from Maia's gorgeous vocals, I am particularly fond of the killer, punchy beat and cool rhythms that create an overall feel-good, confident atmosphere. Check it out below!
