LEEPA Shares New Single ‘blood’

German singer and songwriter LEEPA has just shared her brand new single blood, an edgy indie-pop/rock song out now via Columbia/Sony Music Germany. 

 

I am a fan of LEEPA's voice and how confident and expressive her vocal delivery is, effortlessly connecting the listeners to her story about co-dependency and toxic relationships, as each of us knows them from a different context. A heartbreak anthem, blood is one of those songs that sound perfect to scream and cry as well as dance and hop around on your bed. It's a song packed with both vulnerability and strength all at the same time, beautifully showcasing LEEPA's singing and storytelling abilities. I am particularly fond of the infectious chorus which is perfect to sing along to, killer guitar line and punchy drums that create an overall feel-good atmosphere.
