Kasi Opi Shares New Single ‘Naked’ ft. Nevve
Brooklyn-based songwriter and producer Kasi Opi has just shared his brand new single Naked, a hypnotising piece of EDM out now via BonFire Records.
Taken from his upcoming project Collide, Naked is an entrancing blend of lo-fi, r&b and electronic music that features the lush, dreamy vocals of the acclaimed collective Nevve. I am really enjoying those gorgeous vocals which are packed with raw emotion and soul, soaring beautifully over the captivating production, instantly creating quite a warm and soothing atmosphere that I find perfect for those moments when you want to unwind after a stressful day. Speaking about the song, Kasi Opi said,
Naked is an exploration of a relationship between electronic music and R&B. Sonically, they are like opposites but weirdly compatible in many ways. To me, the feeling of being ‘naked without you’ is fleeting and temporary, almost like strangers passing by on the street, which is the direction I wanted to take with this.
