juno roome Shares New Single ‘just like before’

New York-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and filmmaker juno roome has just shared his brand new single just like before, the first sing he had written in both Korean and English.

What I love the most about this song is its warm, soothing atmosphere and how it was just what I needed following a long, stressful day. I am very fond of his lovely, ethereal-like vocals which beautifully infuse the song with a dreamy touch that I find quite captivating. just like before is a song about missing a relationship that didn't work out, looking back on the good memories you had with that person, yet still knowing that you broke up for the best. This message is wrapped around a captivating indie-pop production packed with intricate guitar riffs that are nicely paired with lush horns, steady drum patterns and airy atmospherics that create an overall warm, laid-back atmosphere. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, juno roome said,
This is the first song that I had written in both Korean and English. I moved to the US when I was 10, so I don't speak Korean very well at all; so when I wrote the first draft of this, I sent it to my mom for review and she said "this makes no sense." I still don't know if it makes a whole lot of sense. But this one is about missing a relationship that didn't quite work very well, missing their shadows on your skin, thinking back on those memories / intimacy fondly, while at the same time with the awareness that it probably wasn't for the best... loss is hard no matter what.
