Fiona Grey Shares New Single ‘You Are Loved’

Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter Fiona Grey returns with her gorgeous new single You Are Loved, a powerful indie-pop cut out now via Wehearnoise Records.

Her most personal and vulnerable song to date, You Are Loved was written after the loss of her sibling who committed suicide early into their transition. The song is not just for the LGTBQIA+ Community, but for anyone and everyone going through a time in their life where they don’t realize how loved they are.

This powerful message is beautifully conveyed through Fiona Grey's lush vocals which glide effortlessly over the captivating production. I am really enjoying how the song blends elements of indie-pop, rock and psychedelic rock featuring awesome guitar riffs (And solo), punchy drums and warm rhythms that create the perfect soundscape for her vocals and storytelling to soar. Accompanying the release, Fiona Grey has shared the self-directed music video which flawlessly embodies the song's message and warmth. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, Fiona Grey said,

I wrote You Are Loved within a few days after my sibling Jayme committed suicide. They were trans, and early in their transition. The song was a huge part of my grieving process. There’s so much left unsaid, especially when someone dies of suicide, being able to have that last conversation helped me process the horrible loss. I didn’t think I’d ever release the song, I figured it would just be for me and my family but after playing it live for the first time I realized that there was a bigger message and that a lot of people needed to be reminded that they are loved.
