Ciao Lucifer Share New Single ‘So Slow’

Dutch duo Ciao Lucifer are back with their third single of the year So Slow, an upbeat, feel-good piece of indie-pop/rock.

This lovely song follows their previous singles Trip and Too Late to Die Young and continues to showcase the duo's uplifting sound with meaningful lyrics. I am really enjoying the confident and passionate vocals which sing about how long we need to wait for mental help which can be very discouraging, especially when it starts affecting our relationships. They share a message of hope and that the wait will be worth it.

This message is wrapped around an upbeat production packed with groovy guitar riffs that are seamlessly intertwined with steady drum patterns that create an overal warm, feel-good atmosphere. Matching this uplifting atmosphere, the duo have shared a colourful music video, directed by Regina Mulder, which you can check out below!

Speaking about the song, Ciao Lucifer said,
When you need mental help, you’ll often end up on a very long waiting list. That can be really discouraging after finally taking the step to seek help. This song is about how having to wait for mental help affected the dynamic in our personal relationships. Our main message is a positive one though: you'll get through it, don't give up. Fun fact: by the time we’re writing this, we’re no longer waiting :-)
