Callen Shares New Single ‘Fooling Myself’

Nashville-based singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Callen has just shared his brand new single Fooling Myself, an upbeat alt/pop-rock song. 

 

Taken from his debut album Ghost Reflections, which is out today, Fooling Myself finds the talented artist beautifully showcasing his passionate vocal delivery and storytelling abilities which soar effortlessly over a polished and upbeat alt-rock production. I am really enjoying the introspective touch of the song and how relatable his storytelling is. Apart from Callen's gorgeous vocals and passionate vocal delivery, I am particularly fond of the intricate guitar riffs and how they are seamlessly intertwined with punchy drum patterns that infuse the song with a cool edge and infectious dose of energy. Ghost Reflections is a 14-track collection of the themes that have carried Callen through life, ordered from his early days to now. It tackles issues such as self-deprecation, coping, introspection, growth, retrospect, self-love, self-improvement, burn-out and repetition. It's an album about Callen's journey in life and all the steps and introspection that have lead to the person he is now.
