Swedish dream-pop trio ViVii have just shared their brand new single Wrap Your Arms, super smooth piece of indie-pop/rock out now via Dumont Dumont.
I am a fan of those smooth, expressive vocals which glide beautifully over the breezy, chilled out indie-pop production. A song about loving to be alone, but also hating it (which I completely relate to), Wrap Your Arms is a beautiful retro-pop gem with steady drum patterns nicely intertwined with lush, expansive synths that create an overall warm, laid-back atmosphere perfect for a relaxing weekend at home. This was an instrumental track that we loved and didn’t want to ruin with vocals.. But at the end of the day we couldn’t keep our fingers away from it. We pretty much wrote it through teams, haha. A song about loving to be alone but also hating it.
