US artists Sea Glass and Benét have teamed up to deliver a super chill piece of indie/lo-fi pop music titled Elevator Chat.
Out now via Handwritten Distribution, Elevator Chat beautifully pairs Sea Glass and Benét's lovely vocals and dreamy harmonies which glide beautifully over the chilled out electronic production. This is a song inspired by the feelings of frustration and resignation, something many of us can relate to. This message is wrapped around a captivating production packed with warm rhythms, lush synths and dreamy harmonies that create an overall laid-back atmosphere perfect for an introspective day at home. Speaking about the song, Sea Glass said,
Inspired by feelings of frustration and resignation, I wrote EC on a premise of limited time windows with too much to say. Frustrated by my own feelings of being stymied and resigned to the fact that they could not be resolved, brought me to sing for the first time. It felt like Benét showed me a completely different perspective that my protagonist had not considered. Their verse added powerful counterpoint to my story, making for my favorite Sea Glass song yet.
