Riku Rajamaa Shares New Single ‘Here I Am’

Finnish singer, songwriter and producer Riku Rajamaa has just shared his brand new single Here I Am, a breezy electro-pop cut out now via Risk/Reward Records. 

 

I am really enjoying Riku Rajamaa's warm tone and how evocative his vocal delivery is, soaring beautifully over the infectious melodies. In the song the reminiscence of the broken-hearted storyteller is vibrant in a really subtle and catchy manner. As the songwriter himself states, it is loosely based on real life experiences in the distant past. 

 

Riku's gorgeous vocals glide beautifully over an elegant and ambient downtempo soundscape packed with haunting melodies packed with expansive synths, intricate acoustic guitar riffs, catchy percussive elements and a memorable electric guitar solo that gives the song a memorable touch. Here I Am is a great song perfect for those laid-back days home alone with one's thoughts.
