Cristóvam Shares New Single ‘Golden Days’
Portuguese singer and songwriter Cristovam has just shared his stunning new single Golden Days, a nostalgia-infused indie-folk song, out now via Universal Music Portugal.
The latest single to be taken from Cristóvam's upcoming album Songs On A Wire, Golden Days is a song about looking back to when you were young and trying to get back what made life so free and easy. I am one of those people that do look back and wish I could have that spark again and I think Cristóvam beautifully captures these feelings through this gorgeous piece of music. Cristóvam's breathtakingly beautiful vocals are packed with raw emotion and they effortlessly glide atop the polished indie-folk production that features intricate acoustic guitar riffs that are then paired with steady drum beats and electric guitar plucks that create an overall warm and intimate atmosphere perfect for an introspective day at home.

Speaking about the song, Cristóvam said,
’Golden Days’ is one of my favorite songs on the record and probably the one that’s more fun to play too. I sort of stumbled upon this guitar tuning that sounded really good and I just couldn’t stop playing with it. I was feeling a bit nostalgic when I wrote it and the whole thing came together pretty fast. Lyrically, It is about looking back to when you were just 18 and trying to get back whatever it was that made life so easygoing and exciting. It’s about searching for a way to break your routine and light that spark once again.
