Bathe Alone Shares New Single ‘Decades & Dreams’

Bathe Alone, the Dream Pop one-woman solo project of Atlanta-based multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Bailey Crone, has just shared her brand new single Decades & Dreams, the first single to be taken from her upcoming sophomore album Fall With The Lights Down, set to arrive soon via The Record Machine.

I am really enjoying the warmth of this song and how it instantly creates quite a soothing atmosphere perfect for a relaxing weekend. Bailey Crone's smooth, dreamy vocals glide effortlessly over the infectious indie-pop production that pairs dream-pop sounds with a moody arrangement and hefty layers of familiar ambience. Decades & Dreams celebrates friendship and fearlessly looks toward the future, a relatable message that is backed by intricate guitar riffs nicely paired with steady percussion and warm rhythms that make this quite a dreamy and enthralling listening experience.

Accompanying the release, Bathe Alone has shared its official music video, directed by Nic Huey, which was nspired by old photos of both of her great-grandmothers on a boating trip together. The video shows Bailey and her best friend — and inspiration behind the actual song — made up in full grandma finery, complete with chunky orange life vests and curly gray hair. The two share a toast to nostalgia and relive youthful adventures in the bittersweet visual. Check it out below!
