Alex McArtor Shares New Single ‘He Don’t Like The Sun’

Texas-based singer and songwriter Alex McArtor has just shared her brand new single He Don't Like The Sun, her first single of the year out now via Bigmac Records. 

 

Taken from her upcoming EP, He Don't Like The Sun is a song about being trapped within your mind and someone else's. It’s about playing with control. It explores the crossroads between love, heartbreak and psychedelics. This relatable message is beautifully conveyed through Alex McArtor's gorgeous, expressive vocals which at times give me Lana Del Rey's vibes, especially when it comes to dynamic vocal delivery and how it glides nicely over the polished melodies. I am particularly fond of the guitar plucks, killer beat and how the song oozes warm, chill vibes perfect for a relaxing weekend or long drive during sunset. Check it out below!
