Token Honey Share Debut Single ‘Jumping Through The Ceiling’

British band Token Honey, consisting of Christophe Genol De La Ceaux (drums), Adam Josephs (bass), Connor O'Hara (keys/synths), Ollie Whittle (guitar) and Rob Hodge (vocals/guitar), have just shared their official debut single Jumping Through The Ceiling, an upbeat nu-disco infused pop song.

I am really enjoying Rob Hodge's vocals and how expressive his vocal delivery is, gliding effortlessly over the upbeat melodies. Jumping Through The Ceiling is a song about the euphoria of being so in love that you don't know what to do with yourself. This message is wrapped around a memorable production that beautifully blends 70s disco, 80s synth-pop and modern pop music in an energetic combination designed to make people dance. I am particularly fond of the bright synths, groovy guitar riffs and how the chorus is perfect to sing along to. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, the band said,
We came together as a band following a pretty dark 18 months for a lot of people, and we wanted to help bring some joy back into people’s lives; what better way to do that than through music that makes you dance and smile? ‘Jumping Through The Ceiling’ has evolved from a solo bedroom-recorded project in 2017 into a full-band studio production in 2022, shaped by new relationships and experiences along the way, and it is now a song that we’re truly proud of and excited to release as our debut.
