North Carolina-based band The Collection have just shared their brand new single Won't Stop Yet, an upbeat, feel-good piece of pop music.
Their first single of the year, Won't Stop Yet is an honest, sticky pop song about trying to survive what often feels like the end of the world. I am really enjoying the song's uplifting and empowering atmosphere which is nicely enhanced by lead singer David Wimbish's gorgeous, expressive vocals. The whole vibe of the song is quite joyful with lush horns being seamlessly paired with captivating strings, cool guitar riffs, delicate piano chords and steady percussion that create an overall warm, feel-good atmosphere. It’s my version of an empowering anthem - I want so badly to believe we’ll ‘get through this,’ but it doesn’t often feel true…so, for now, it’s one-foot-in-front-of-the-other choruses and hopeful melodies.
