Rosanne Baker Thornley Shares New Single ‘In Paris’

Toronto-based internationally recognized, award-winning singer, and prolific songwriter Rosanne Baker Thornley has just shared her brand new single In Paris, a lovely alt-folk song taken from her upcoming album, Sorry I'm Late, set to arrive this summer.
I am really enjoying the tone of Rosanne Baker Thornley's voice and how evocative and expressive her vocal delivery is, instantly drawing our attention to her lovely storytelling. In Paris is a narrative of experiencing the past, the present and the future all in one moment, realising that life is forever in motion and that it's important to savour the journey (which is something I fail to do quite often). I am loving the song's warmth which is enhanced by the intricate acoustic guitar-based melodies that create an intimate atmosphere perfect for Rosanne's gorgeous vocals to soar. Check it out below!

On a trip to Paris with her daughter, Rosanne,

realized that life is forever in motion and that it’s important to savour the journey. I remember thinking, ‘just take this all in, because it all goes by so fast. Don’t waste time pining for the past when you’re undoubtedly standing at the edge of the future.’
