Ocean Tisdall Shares New Single ‘White Lies’

Following the success of his highly praised debut single Broke Up With My Best Friend, Irish alt-pop artist Ocean Tisdall is back with his sophomore single White Lies, an anti-valentine's pop anthem.

Out now via Universal Music Ireland, White Lies showcases some of Ocean Tisdall's most compassionate and vibrant songwriting to date. This is a very relatable song about a break up and finally being able to see things for what they really are. This message is beautifully conveyed through his rich and spellbinding voice which swoons effortlessly over the warm alt-pop production. Apart from his gorgeous vocals I am really enjoying that infectious beat throughout the song and how it enhances the emotion pouring from his voice. I am also loving how the chorus is absolutely addictive, instantly making me sing along to it right after the very first one. White Lies is a captivating alt-pop song with smooth vocals, honest storytelling and infectious melodies that make it a great anti-valentine's anthem. Check it out below!

Speaking about the new single, Ocean says

White Lies is one of those records that just came out like word vomit!.I remember listening to Billie Eilish’s ‘Ocean Eyes’ for the first time whilst going through my own break up and being smacked in the face with an overwhelming sense of “F*ck I relate to these lyrics sooooo much”, especially because my ex had the most endearing blue eyes but was a sucker for those white lies. When writing this record, myself and my co-writer Seven just kept saying “Why did Billie get it so damn right?” and that ended up being the driving lyric that started the whole writing process.”
