Nashville-based singer and songwriter Melanie MacLaren has just shared her brand new single Deep Dark Sleep, the latest single to be taken from her debut EP, Kill My Time, out now! 

 

Deep Dark Sleep is a haunting, meditative modern folk song that beautifully showcases Melanie MacLaren's smooth, expressive vocals which soar effortlessly over the infectious melodies. I am really enjoying its soothing atmosphere and how it sounds like a lovely lullaby, perfect to get one in a relaxed mood. I am particularly fond of the intricate acoustic guitar riffs that are nicely paired with lush fiddle, distorted trad instruments and ambient synthesizers that create an overall warm atmosphere perfect for a relaxing, introspective day at home.
