I am a fan of Lola Melita's smooth, soulful vocals which instantly command the listener's attention to her storytelling. The theme of the song comes from and instagram post from writer Alexandra Solomon stating that we live in a generation where dating is very hard. Most people play a game of whoever cares the less wins and by doing so jump the chance of true intimacy. Unfortunately this has become quite common, making it hard for us to find true intimacy and love. Lola Melita flawlessly conveys this message through her gorgeous vocals which are backed by a captivating production packed with cool guitar plucks nicely intertwined with catchy rhythms and a steady beat that create an overall warm atmosphere.
