Hearts on Speed Share New Single ‘Wire’

American indie rock band Hearts on Speed have just shared their brand new single Wire, a chill piece of indie/lo-fi pop music out now via Young Animals. 

 

Showcasing a softer side of the band, Wire is a captivating song about the feeling of being with someone who is both difficult, yet irresistible, showing how sometimes you put yourself at risk emotionally to stay in such relationship. It's not all roses and the band beautifully capture such feelings, wrapping them around a warm and polished indie/lo-fi pop production. I am very fond of the smooth, expressive vocals and how they glide beautifully over the chilled out melodies packed with bright, expansive atmospherics, memorable bass and catchy rhythms that effortlessly create an overall warm, laid-back atmosphere perfect for a relaxing weekend at home.
