Norwegian singer and songwriter Ella Lockert has just shared her brand new single Excuses, a captivating pop song out now via Lockertville. 

 

Excuses is a relatable song about how we tend to make excuses for things we made or haven't made. It's a song that reminds the listeners of the way we sometimes fool ourselves when we don't succeed, and how frustrating and uncomfortable it is when we realise we keep repeating the same pattern and never change our ways. I am really enjoying Ella Lockert's emotive, passionate vocal delivery which soar effortlessly over a captivating production packed with emotive piano chords that are nicely paired with a catchy beat and somewhat of an anthemic chorus.
