Carli Brill Shares New Single ‘Concrete Jungle’

Following the release of her gorgeous debut single Hey Little Girl, Californian singer and songwriter Carli Brill has just shared her sophomore single, Concrete Jungle, a nostalgic, yet modern take on falling in love. 

 

As its predecessor, Concrete Jungle finds Carli Brill continuing to showcase her retro soul-infused sonority which I find quite endearing and captivating. I am a fan of her smooth, expressive vocals which instantly command the listener's attention to her relatable storytelling. Concrete Jungle sees the artist creating a melodic journey of what it feels like to fall in love, with the rhythmic shifts imitating the excitement and progression a new love can bring. Apart from her lovely vocals I am particularly fond of the cool guitar plucks and riffs which are nicely paired with a steady percussion that create an overall warm, laid-back atmosphere perfect for a relaxing day at home.
