Canadian singer, songwriter, and multi- instrumentalist AVIV has just shared her brand new single You Feel Like Depression, a punchy indie-pop/rock gem out now via Photo Finish Records.
I am really enjoying the tone of her voice and how confident her vocal delivery is, soaring beautifully over the energetic production. You Feel Like Depression is a relatable song about the feelings of self-guilt and failure following a breakup. I am particularly fond of the way the song starts quite sweet and smooth, before being joined by soaring guitar riffs and punchy percussion that enhance the emotion pouring from her lush vocal delivery. self-guilt, self-blame and an overall feeling of failure. This feeling is amplified when the person with whom you’ve ended the relationship blames you for the breakup.
