I am particularly fond of the tone of Shuba's voice and how confident her vocal delivery and rap is, soaring effortlessly over infectious melodies that seamlessly blend elements of pop and hip-hop music. I am also very fond of the lush strings, killer trap-infused beat and how the song has an overall warm, confident atmosphere perfect to play during those moments when you need a boost in confidence. Speaking about the song, Shuba said,
Love runs out is like a therapy note I’d write to myself. One of my biggest fears is the moment when you realize the high of a relationship is gone and that all the “butterflies” you had were only based on superficial/ temporary things. It’s a song about reflecting on self worth and how people expect to be treated versus how they sometimes actually get treated in their romantic pursuits.
