Place of Burning Shares New Single ‘Carolyn’

Place of Burning, the project of a Dublin-based synthpop artist, has just shared his brand new single Carolyn, a super smooth blend of indietronica with bedroom/lo-fi pop music. 

 

For this song, Place of Burning teamed up with Chilean-born, Dublin-based busker, Francesco Parodi, whose smooth, expressive vocals instantly draw our attention to their storytelling. Carolyn is a song about desire, jealousy and infatuation-turned-traged, all wrapped around a memorable and polished electronic production. I am particularly fond of the driving beat that is nicely paired with eerie synths, hypnotic beats and psychedelic touches that create an overall warm and hypnotic atmosphere.
