Nicky Romero & GATTÜSO & Jared Lee Share New Single ‘Afterglow’

Dutch powerhouse DJ, producer and Protocol Recordings label head Nicky Romero has teamed up with New York City-based DJ, producer, and remixer GATTÜSO and Boston-born singer, songwriter, and platinum producer Jared Lee to deliver Afterglow, a new vocal Progessive House cut out now via Protocol Recordings. 

 

His first single of 2022, Afterglow finds the Protocol label boss incorporating his trademark sound by opening with subtle instrumentals underneath Jared Lee's passionate, soulful vocals that ignite a spark of positivity and resilience. I am very fond of the way the melodies build up with energy into a seamless progressive crescendo which enhances the emotion pouring from Jared Lee's vocals while also making the song perfect to dance to. I am particularly fond of the lush House piano chords that are nicely paired with bright synths and energetic percussion, making Afterglow a high-energy, feel-good piece of Progressive House music packed with tons of emotion and a sense of euphoria perfect for those fun summer festivals to come.
