Ferris & Sylvester Unveil New Single ‘Golden’
Critically acclaimed British blues-rock duo Ferris & Sylvester kick off the new year with a bang as they share their brand new single Golden, the latest single to be lifted from their forthcoming debut album Superhuman, which is set for release March 11th, 2022 via PIAS/Integral.
Golden is a feel-good, celebratory anthem that showcases another side of the band's already rich palette as they bring pop, soul and roots influences into their already eclectic mix. I am a huge fan of Issy Ferris's gorgeous tone with a captivating raspy touch which is nicely paired with Archie Sylvester's smoother tone. Their lush, layered harmonies glide effortlessly over an upbeat, groovy and funky production with memorable horn accents being nicely paired with punchy percussion and cool guitars.
This rich blend of elements makes Golden quite an enthralling listening experience and its overall feel-good atmosphere is guaranteed to get you in a good mood in no time.

Golden is a song for the dreamers. For those who are searching for something more and aren’t quite sure how to get there, but fight for it everyday despite the odds. We wrote this at a time of great uncertainty, asking ourselves where are we going? Has anyone else been here? Sometimes those big questions can cloud you, yet your dreams somehow find a way through the fog. We hope this speaks to people and inspires them to dig in and keep dreaming.
