Altameda Shares New Single ‘Nightmare Town’

Canadian duo Altameda (æl-tah-MI-da) have just shared their brand new single Nightmare Town, an upbeat blend of folk and americana music. 

 

I am really enjoying Troy Snaterse's passionate and confident vocal delivery which soars beautifully over the upbeat melodies. Nightmare Town was inspired largely by the film Badlands, and the true story that the film is loosely based on. It shares a relatable message of wanting to escape your circumstances and it is wrapped around a memorable production packed with lush piano chords nicely intertwined with cool guitars and punchy drums that create an overall high-energy, feel-good atmosphere.
