VØR Shares New Single ‘Unspoken’
German indie pop artist VØR has just shared her brand new single Unspoken, the latest single to be taken from her upcoming album Honey.
I am loving her rich, siren-esque vocals which instantly give me Lana Del Rey vibes and how they glide effortlessly over the captivating indie electronic production. Unspoken finds VØR conjuring up memories of a past love and searching for ways out of darkness with her music. Apart from her gorgeous vocals I am particularly fond of the memorable driving beat, lush synths, infectious pop hook and overall warm atmosphere. Check it out below!
Speaking about her music and her upcoming album, VØR said,
My music allows me to take a break and to enter a world in which I can dream and find myself. It is my safe space and I try to share this feeling of security with the audience. There is no fixed topic on ‘Honey’, in some songs I observe my innermost and share it. My fears, my depression, or what it was like to grow up with someone who is an alcoholic. In other songs I share my observations and become a kind of magnifying glass for the listener. I address topics that are considered a taboo and that can also hurt - if you take a closer look.
