British singer and songwriter Roma Rose has just shared a lovely new single titled Mother of the Boy in the Band, a song about John Lennon's death. 

 

Released on the anniversary of John Lennon's death (41 years ago today), Mother of the Boy in the Band is a heartwarming song that explores the day when a musical legend died, from a mother's perspective. Created by Roma Rose, Jess Sharman (Jamie Lawson) & Grammy winning Femke, this song beautifully showcases Roma Roses's lovely, expressive vocals which soar beautifully over the warm production, instantly enhancing the emotion of her storytellling. I am really enjoying the delicate piano chords throughout the song, ethereal builds, lush synths/strings and textured harmonies that create an overall warm and intimate atmosphere perfect for those cold, rainy days at home.
