Niomí Shares New Single ‘With You’
London-based Irish-Pakistani singer, songwriter and producer Niomí has just shared her brand new single With You, the lead single of her sophomore EP, Pain Relief, out now!
With You is a poignant pop ballad that touches upon abusive relationships, beautifully showcasing an honest and vulnerable side of the artist. I am really enjoying her soothing voice and harmonies which flow effortlessly over a simple yet ethereal orchestration led by piano, cello and smooth rhythms that create an overall warm and intimate atmosphere. This is one of those songs that I'd play when I want to unwind after a stressful day or for those introspective days home alone. Check it out below!
Speaking about the song, Niomí said,
I had a long-term relationship which was abusive. I couldn’t be myself and the beginning of this track reflects the subtle changes that started around that time. I stopped writing songs, and was questioning myself. The chorus acknowledges the person that was there trying to just be but couldn’t whilst I was with them.
