London-based songstress Myyora has just shared her brand new single Forever Chasing, a smooth piece of soulful indie-pop music.
I am very fond of Myyora's soulful vocals which are nicely backed by a super chilled out and warm production. The title track of her new album, which is out now via DONMIND, Forever Chasing is Myyora's love letter to the sun and the peaceful feeling she has while in the warmth of the sun. It can also be interpreted as a love letter to someone or something that makes you feel at peace and safe. I am really enjoying how Myyora's smooth, soulful tone infuses the song with a dreamy touch and how it is enhanced by a captivating beat that creates an overall warm, laid-back atmosphere perfect for those relaxing days at home. Speaking about the song, Myyora said,
"Forever Chasing" is the result of me channeling what i feel when i'm sitting in the warmth of the sun. It's my favourite place to be. So this song is a love letter to the sun, but of course anyone can relate and replace the "sun" with their own personal love.
