Romanian singer, songwriter and actress Holy Molly has just shared her gorgeous new single Bang Bang, a memorable piece of electro-pop music out now via Global Records & Creator Records.
I am a big fan of Holy Molly's dulcet tones which instantly make the song recognisable and memorable! Bang Bang is a song about being so deep in a toxic relationship that you struggle to escape from it. It's a song that shines a light on how domestic violence affects people all around the world and is wrapped around an infectious electronic production that contrasts with the deeper lyrics. Apart from Holy's gorgeous vocals, I am very fond of the lush synths throughout the song and how they give it an expansive touch that is nicely paired with groovy percussion and an infectious pop hook that makes the song perfect to dance to while singing along to it. As soon as I heard this song I felt that it was perfect for those fun weekends out in the sun, guaranteed to keep you warm in these winter days.

Speaking about the song, Holy Molly said,
I think “Bang Bang” is probably one of the strongest stories I’ve ever written a song about. Imagine this picture: a very toxic relationship, addiction, obsession, domestic violence and everything in between. And in some cases, love is so strong it makes you blind to all those signs regarding your partner’s real character. This is how you can end up in the wrong place with no way to escape from it. From time to time, I think it’s important to talk about the world's real problems, and domestic violence affects people all around the globe. Of course, I had an amazing team helping me create this song and outline the concept.
