Clear Eyes, the passion project of producer Jeremy Lloyd, the non-vocal half of Marian Hill, has just shared his brand new single no place i’d rather be, an infectious piece of chillstep/indie-electronic music out now via dreaming of flying. 

 

I am loving the ever shifting beats that glitch and drive throughout the song which instantly creates a breezy, laid-back atmosphere. For this song, Clear Eyes enlisted the help of singer-songwriter Reo Cragun whose smooth vocals and gorgeous falsetto glide effortlessly over the warm electronic production. This interplay of Reo's sweeping vocals with Lloyds beats elevates the song to where the beat takes on a melody of its own, making it equal to the vocals, rather than a foundation set in stone.
