August Blue, the project of St. Louis-based artist Jake Weisman, has just shared his official debut single Secrets, a captivating alt/indie-pop song. 

 

I am really enjoying the tone of his voice and how smooth and expressive his vocal delivery is, soaring beautifully over the polished production. Secrets is a song about one's internal mental health conflict while finding solace in a relationship and is wrapped around an infectious production that blends lush horns and live instruments with a modern sound.
