Stella Katherine Cole Share New Single ‘Invincible’

American duo Stella Katherine Cole, consisting of singer Stella Cole and songwriter Emma Scotson, have just shared their brand new single Invincible, a captivating piano-based ballad out now via Shadow Station Records. 

 

I am a sucker for piano-based songs as they are usually drenched with emotion and this one beautifully delivers on that. I am loving Stella Cole's powerful vocals which are packed with raw emotion, soaring effortlessly over the warm production. Invincible is a song about drowning out one's fears and settle for apathy. Guarding yourself as a way to avoid future pain and hurt, but you realise that it will also make it impossible for you to be vulnerable and open for love. The song beautifully captures the feelings of such decision and the uncertainty of which alternative is worse. This relatable message is wrapped around a memorable piano-based production packed with lush strings that create an overall warm and emotive atmosphere that I find perfect for those introspective days home alone.
