Soran Shares New Single ‘Tired’

Following last month's lo-fi cut Space Boy, Montreal-based singer and songwriter Soran has just shared his brand new single Tired, a electronic alt-pop, sad bop, out now via Universal Music Canada.

I am loving his silky, dulcet vocals and how expressive his vocal delivery is, oozing with honesty and raw emotion. Tired is a relatable song about one's state of mind and confusion following a breakup and Soran perfectly captures those feelings through a memorable piece of alt/electro-pop music with soulful undertones.

Apart from the raw, honest emotion pouring from his vocals, I am particularly fond of the lush guitar riffs throughout the song and how they are nicely paired with a memorable beat and airy atmospherics that create an overall warm atmosphere. Tired is a perfect example of Soran's own explorative concoction of alternative RnB, Lo-fi, spacey electronics and buttery soft vocals that detail the finest alternative pop hooks and melodies. This is by far my favourite song of his and you can have a listen to this honest and captivating piece of music below!

Speaking about the song, Soran said,
The verses are written by the head, the chorus by the heart. I wanted to portray the constant back and forth and confusion that goes into one’s mind after a breakup.
