Sam Day Shares New Single ‘One More Night’ ft. Meggie York

Time to dance! London-based producer Sam Day has teamed up with Ohio-based singer and songwriter Meggie York to deliver One More Night, a jubilant piece of EDM out now via bitbird. 

 

I am loving Meggie York's smooth, dreamy vocals which glide beautifully over Sam Day's polished electronic/pop production. Beginning with an openness with atmospheric pads and rising synths, One More Night slowly builds up with pace and energy, leading us into the energetic chorus section. This track unearths a warmth in the midst of a fleeting relationship, and utilises the playfulness of the soundscape to showcase the emotions associated with wanting to the romance alive. 

 

I am really enjoying the subtle bird chirping samples and vibrant atmospherics that instantly set the tone for the rest of the song. I am also very fond of the robust synths, killer bass that is nicely paired with a joyous groove that will get you dancing in no time.
