Nuala Honan Shares New Single ‘I’m Alright’

British singer and songwriter Nuala Honan has just shared her brand new single I’m Alright, a captivating indie-pop song out now via Homesick Productions.

I am really enjoying her expressive vocals which have somewhat of a timeless appeal that instantly drew my attention to this song. I'm Alright has an upbeat and uplifting message that aims to inspire the listeners to follow their dreams and accept where they are in life, knowing that they can take their time to pause and think of where they want to go next. This message is wrapped around a shimmering sound that creates a hopeful landscape for the listener to drift into a pop-dream. I am really enjoying the gorgeous guitars (which give us a hint of ‘50s rock ‘n’ roll dance-band) nicely paired with steady percussion and a memorable chorus perfect to sing along to. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, Nuala Honan said,

I wanted to make a companion. A song you can take into your world and put it on repeat – when you’re cleaning the house, when you’re walking around your neighbourhood, when you’re having a cup of tea with your friend. The ending of the song, this repetitive mantra, ‘I’m alright’, and the wavy melody, is for the listener to pause, to dream, and go where you need to go. To accept where you’re at, and that is enough, and you are alright, and have the courage to create a vision of where you want to go, and what is the next right thing to do.
