Make Friends Share New Single ‘Is This Real’

Following last month's indie-rock cut Fever, Bristol-based indie outfit Make Friends are back with their brand new single Is This Real, the title track of their 5-track EP which is out now! 

 

Is This Real is a vibrant, high-energy piece of alternative, indie-pop/rock music that instantly got me in a good mood and energised to face this new week ahead. I am a fan of the smooth, yet confident and dynamic vocal delivery that is beautifully backed by soaring guitar riffs and punchy drums that make it impossible not to bob my head while listening to it. Is This Real perfectly sums up the bold and driven direction the outfit have been pushing throughout the last year. Packed with the same bright and glittering direction as their offerings to date, this new effort puts a lid on their 2021 pursuits and offers an exciting glimpse into what we can expect from them as they continue to work on their long-awaited debut album, due out next year.
