Virginia native singer and songwriter Jovanni Cardenas has just shared his brand new single Burning House a captivating indie-pop song about the ups and the downs of a relationship. 

 

I am really enjoying Jovanni's smooth, expressive vocals and how they are nicely backed by a captivating drum beat, lush synths and expansive atmospherics that create an overall warm atmosphere. Taken from his new EP, The House That Burns (out now), Burning House is a song that describes the intimate parts of a relationship, as well as the toxic parts. This is a song about being in a relationship that slowly burns down and turns into heartbreak, showing that not all relationships end up as we want.
