Joe Dolman Shares Heartfelt New Single ‘The Lucky One’

British singer and songwriter Joe Dolman has just shared his brand new single The Lucky One, an absolutely stunner that is guaranteed to give you the feels in no time.

As soon as I heard Joe Dolman's vocals I knew I was in for a treat and I was not mistaken. Joe's expressive vocals glide beautifully over delicate piano chords which instantly set the tone for a melancholic and emotional listening experience. Written about the fear of losing his dad, The Lucky One is a heartfelt gem about feeling lucky to have someone so special in your life, expressing both the appreciation of having that person in your life and the fear of losing that support. This is a very relatable song and is packed with so much raw and honest emotion that won me over from the start.

Joe Dolman's passionate vocal delivery is nicely backed by a stunning production packed with emotive piano chords that are then joined by steady percussion, a Gospel choir and lush strings that create an overall warm, emotional atmosphere. I have this song on repeat and I think you will love it as much as I am. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, Joe Dolman said,
I wrote this song about the fear of losing my Dad. My father is the biggest role model in my life and this song was born out of the thought that one day he won't be around for me to look up to. It was recorded at my home, and took almost 2 years to complete. The recording includes a gospel choir and strings performed by Rosie Langley of Jeff Lynne's Electric Light Orchestra.
