Greta Isaac Shares New Single ‘Polyfilla’

Welsh singer and songwriter Greta Isaac has just shared her brand new single Polyfilla, ta soulful pop ballad taken from her upcoming EP set to arrive in early 2022.

I am loving Greta Isaac's emotive and vulnerable vocal delivery which beautifully conveys the emotion of her storytelling. Out now via MADE Records, Polyfilla sees Greta Isaac showcasing her superb storytelling abilites, that talk about the concept of growing up as a way of accepting we're not superhuman and heal the child within us. Growing up is realising we still need care and boundaries, and that the child within still needs looking after. Greta is such a gifted storyteller and such story is enhanced by her smooth, emotive vocal delivery which soars effortlessly over a polished piano-based instrumental. This gut-wrenching ballad has touches of melancholia and sounds perfect for those introspective days home alone. Check it out below!

Speaking about the song, Greta Isaac said,
This song was pretty cathartic for me to write. I was going through a time in my life where I found myself surrounded by friends, family members, fleeting encounters that all seemed to be working through difficulties within themselves that stemmed from hereditary trauma and pain. I think there’s a point in everyone’s lives where you realise that growing up doesn’t just mean leaving home, making advances in your career or gaining independence or even starting a family of your own. A huge part of growing up is healing the child inside of us and accepting that we’re not superhuman. We’re not indestructible. We need care and boundaries. This song is for those who might be struggling with those feelings right now and how even in an adult state, there might be a vulnerable child within us that needs looking after.
