GION Shares New Single ‘RUIN IT FOR THE NEXT ONE’
Italian-born, Canada-raised singer and songwriter GION (Gionatan Catalano) has just shared his brand new single RUIN IT FOR THE NEXT ONE, taken from his upcoming third EP, What We Thought We Were (Act III).
I am really enjoying his silky smooth vocals and how they glide beautifully over the upbeat production. Apart from his lovely timbre, I am very fond of the cool guitars and how the infectious melodies instantly create a feel-good atmosphere. RUIN IT FOR THE NEXT ONE is a song that finds the talented singer reflecting about the end of a relationship, sharing a message of personal growth and moving forward. This message is wrapped around an upbeat electro-pop production packed with lush guitars riffs nicely paired with a catchy beat and an infectious pop hook that creates an overall warm, feel-good atmosphere. ‘RIFTNO’ is the conclusion to a three part trilogy of EPs that were written about this singular relationship that when it ended, felt like the equivalent of the world ending as well. It’s this intentional promise to one’s self, that no matter how hurt or badly your previous experience and relationship might have been, you won’t allow wounds of the past to compromise a hope for a future.
