Dylan Owen Shares New Single ‘Hurt Enough’ ft. Kinetics & One Love

New York rap artist Dylan Owen teams up with highly accredited songwriting team and hip hop duo Kinetics & One Love to deliver his brand new single Hurt Enough, a captivating Rap/Hip-Hop track out now via SunPop & Nowhere Kids.

Co-written by Ryann (singer and songwriter behind Tate McRae’s chart-topping, multi-platinum “You Broke Me First”) and JP Clarke (Blink 182, Cheat Codes, Bryce Vine), Hurt Enough beautifully showcases Dylan and Kinetics on sincere yet technical rap verses while One Love handles the production.

I am really enjoying how smooth and effortless Kinetics and Dylan's rhymes flow over the warm production, instantly connecting the listeners to their storytelling. Hurt Enough is a song that sees Dylan opening up about a recent breakup and his struggle to find closure, building upon the narrative of self-discovery. The song shines a light about an imbalanced relationship in which one person takes a bittersweet step away out of self-awareness. This honest songwriting is wrapped around a polished Rap/Hip-Hop production with cool guitar riffs and punchy beat that creates an overall warm, laid-back atmosphere perfect for a relaxing weekend at home.

Accompanying the release, Dylan Owen shares its official music video which was shot by Patrick Lawler outside of LA. The visual features grainy, VHS-styled drone shots and super zoom footage of the two rappers baring their souls on top of California’s Santa Ynez Mountains. Check it out below!
