Devan Shares New Single ‘nascar’

Following last month's lovely indie-pop cut Orchid, Toronto-born/London-raised singer and songwriter Devan is back with yet another gem titled nascar, out now via Premature Nostalgia. 

 

The latest single to be taken from her new EP Liquid Sunshine, nascar is a relatable song about a relationship that is losing its spark and on its way to a breakup. You start picking things apart and finding so many reasons why the relationship isn't working anymore. I am loving Devan's evocative vocals and how they are packed with so much emotion, soaring beautifully over the warm production. I am particularly fond of the intricate guitar riffs, subtle strings and steady beat that create an overall warm and intimate atmosphere perfect for a laid-back day home alone with one's thoughts.
